The customer service is amazing. the only reason they aren't getting all 10's, is because there has been major delays in the park and pool that were supposed to be here last summer and the HOA has already drastically gone up.

What i like the most was interacting with specific people: [name removed], [name removed] (handy man), and [name removed] - they are so helpful, responsive and knowledgeable- i felt that they loved what they do and addressed my concerns in a professional and timely manner. What i like the least is the insulation in my home - i can be in any room in the house, talking in a normal tone and hold a conversation with someone else on the opposite end of the house - with the doors closed! (We tried it lol). For an energy efficient home, I expected more insulation and was told by my sales rep [name removed] that the windows would not take on the outside temperature.... but they do.

Anything we asked to touch up and fix, they were able to fix quickly. They were thorough with the walkthrough. We asked them to add blinds and they did quickly.

I deeply regret building and buying this house from Ideal Homes. Every single person I worked with during the design process left, my builder rarely communicated, and closing was an absolute nightmare. I am completely miserable in my own home due to the constant construction noise. Contractors blare music at all hours of the day, trample across my lawn, and regularly leave trash or debris outside. I have shared this feedback with Ideal Homes representatives, repeatedly being told "we will talk to them," but nothing changes. Every day I seem to find more evidence of poor quality workmanship. This includes sloppy paint, inconsistent caulking, cabinets pulling away from the walls, door frames not being flush, and more. Other issues such as a large hole in the garage ceiling, locks that don't work, and drywall covering a required vent have been corrected, but the growing list of errors further reduces my opinion of Ideal Homes. My experience has been that there is a lack of pride and accountability throughout your organization. I sincerely wish I had not purchased this home.

Process was good, great communication throughout the team with us, lending was a seamless process. HOA was unclear for our area but everything was settled by closing. Our follow up is in January where we have some minor things to repair at this time.

The subcontractors used are not using quality materials or double checking their work. The Brewer Flooring have been AWFUL to work with. They do not respond to calls and have dragged out repairing our wooden floors to almost two months now and still have NOT fixed ANY of the issues. We have bought multiple new homes and never had these experiences. Moved in and a week later the plumbing backed up inside of the house because the men who built the house threw a rag into the system and broke off plastic. Makes me wonder how this house will last if these are the problems within the first 6 months! The igniter cable for the fireplace was completely broken off. They didn’t replace it. Just rigged it in place. I’m worried about a fire being caused by it or electrical shock! But nope, the subcontractors just want a quick and easy fix to their crappy quality work. First home we bought that didn’t have a welcome gift waiting on the kitchen counter like tumblers and coffee. I would not ever recommend Ideal Homes to any family or friend or for my next home purchase. In fact I would tell them the warranties are lies and the subcontractors make Ideal Homes look really bad but at the end of the day Ideal Homes chose these companies.

I wasn’t impressed with the guest bathroom tile ,drywall,and grout issue it was repaired and improved …I pointed out if the guest bathroom wasn’t done properly shouldn’t we check the master bathroom no one seemed to hear my concern . It seems that pest mitigation around building sites and the pond are an issue for everyone…mice and black fly invasion.
