I liked working with [name removed] in the Fort Worth Area. He was fast and very communicative. The quality of the home is cheap. There is no insulation, poorly built foundation.

The Quality of legendary home building is so poor and inferior product, if I had know about this I wont buy homes here

Right after I moved in, there were minor things noticed, but since they weren’t noticed during the walkthrough, there wasn’t anything that could be done. Things like the vinyl floor piece behind the bathroom door not installed properly; the driveway concrete cracks; discoloration in the paint; etc. One thing that was noticed during the first walkthrough was the fence panel in back not aligned with the other fence panels; however, I forgot to check it during the second walkthrough. Ok, so far that’s all on me not being more diligent during the walkthroughs. Since then, I’ve submitted multiple warranty tickets that are not on me. Before I get started start, I will say that the a/c company has been fantastic at coming out and fixing/correcting any/all issues we’ve had. However, there were two other companies that automatically blamed us for the issues and declared warranty voided… the electricity and the irrigation. The person who came out to look at the electricity wasn’t even a real electrician and sent pics back to the company, who determined the fault was ours because of drywall/light work we had done. After fighting with them through the holidays for over two months and dealing with what I worried could be a fire hazard, I finally hired an electrician, who found and fixed the issue within 30 minutes. Guess what! The issue had nothing to do with the drywall/light work, but rather was clearly caused by incorrect wiring where the neutrals were twisted together and never stripped. In other words, it was the original electrician’s fault. The other thing was the irrigation in which the irrigation guy said someone had crossed wires which voided out the wiring. He couldn’t fully answer my questions when trying to ascertain who could’ve or would’ve done that and wanted to charge me over $300 to fix, but then ghosted me when I finally gave up and agreed to pay him to fix it. So, I hired someone to fix the issue for a lot less. This person had trouble understanding how the issue could’ve happened except by someone who knew irrigation. Another issue I have is that we pay over $500/yr for HOA, which is extremely high for any community, but especially one that only offers a dog park; no swimming pool, playground, fountain, etc. I was told it was for grounds maintenance (which, mind you, other HOAs, including other Legend properties that have pools and pay the same, also have grounds maintenance). So this expensive dog park is filled with sticky weeds that get stuck in the paws and fur that take forever to pull out and hurt the dogs. It’s rarely mowed and mostly dirt with no agility courses or other stimulating amenities. As far as the maintenance of the grounds, it is only ever partially mowed, meaning only at the entrance. Broken beer bottles and other trash are left on sidewalks. The common grassy areas are tall snake pits with all kinds of trash XXXXX tered throughout. Our mailbox has been wobbly since we moved in 6 months ago, and simply needs the bolts tightened. Street signs are slanted and look like they’re gonna blow over any minute. Needless to say, I can’t help but wonder where all that HOA money is going. With all the homes that still need to be sold in this community, one can’t help think these things might be important contributing factors.

Friendly staff and the process was very easy. I did not like the lender that legend homes uses.

My experience with legend homes was awful until [name removed] took over the warranty department. Since then everything has been perfect. He is awesome.

The warranty service is awful. [name removed] never returned my calls in a timely manner refused to fix two problems and delayed completing the other projects. Some are still not done, which is totally unacceptable. For this reason, I will not recommend a legend home because it has been very frustrating and I’ve owned two homes prior to this one and never had problems like this. I asked to speak to his supervisor and he told me that he did not have one. this in my lifetime. I travel constantly, but plan on calling the front office of legend homes in early November to try to complete the other things I need finished.

Every thing seems great so far, just wish they would build up the pet park it seems like they just put a fence around a little area and called it a dog park.

[name removed] was very friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. Buying a house with Legend Homes was a pleasant experience.

Legend home is cool but I don't like the fact that my background does not absorb wanter after rain or after sprinkling the grass ( sprinkler) it always leaves stagnant water for weeks and later turns mudy and so messy for weeks. 2. I also do not appreciate the little sound coming from my roof just like things are not tightly fixed up there
