[name removed] and [name removed] were delightful to work with and made the whole process so easy. When the color of stain did not match the sample that was provided they made sure they did everything to resolve it quickly for us. They were there to answer any questions we had.

the folks that I have interacted with have been great, they are all quite helpful...from a dislike, I completed a survey after the first 3 months and referenced the on demand hot water system that we waste 5 minutes of water running in order to get hot water and how this system is a expensive failure for a homeowner and asked in the survey for someone from Normandy Homes to contact me about it and guess what, no one ever called me. So either you all do not read these things or you ignored me because everyone I have spoke to in this neighborhood says the same thing about the tank, it wastes gallons and gallons of water that we have to pay for.

Without the help by Normandy Homes, we couldn't settle down in the new place this quickly. We enjoyed working with [name removed], who is very friendly, professional, and responsive during the whole purchase process from the initial agreement to final closing and move-in. [name removed] passionately walked us through the new house, got acquaintance with the structure and functions, and resolved issues arising from inspection and walk-through. In the follow-up walk-through after move-in, [name removed] also helped tremendously address our questions and issues that emerged during initial living in the house. Overall, we have been working with great people from Normandy Homes and we're satisfied with the quality of the new house. We'd like to recommend Normandy Homes to any friend who will move to Dallas area in the future. Again, we are very thankful to the people who made our transition much easier.

I like the way Normandy deals with Customers and gives assurance. They care for quality and customer satisfaction. [name removed] , our warranty manager was patient in explaining what is covered under warranty and as a courtesy he took care of some common problems and addressed the concerns in a professional way.

1) The eclectic system always have issues, the break stop working multiple times, causing AC and furnace stop working. We have to call emergency services and spend hundreds of dollars on this issue. Still not being fixed, because the construction team came and said everything looks good. 2) The backyard fence nail is loose, but Normandy refused to fix it for us, saying that fence is not included in the warranty. However the fence is missing-installed at the first time, and that’s why it is causing issue now. A week before closing, the inspection report identified an issue with the fence being detached at the corner. We brought this to the construction team’s attention, and instead of redoing the work, they chose to secure the corner with nails. We expressed concerns about the stability of this fix, but the team assured us that it would hold and promised to return and repair it properly if it became detached again. Unfortunately, we have now noticed that the nails have come loose but the construction team refused to fix for us now. 3) Outside outlet not being insulated. Every time there’s heavy rain or fog, our entire home system shut down. We have to go to the attic and reset the power control. When we were out of town for a couple days, the refrigerator and door bell stopped working multiple times because the water goes into the outside outlet. We opened multiple tickets on this issue still not being fixed.

We are disappointed with how normandy handled some of our issues. Though the house internally looks ok, the way the external lawn and grading was done is pathetic. The sod itself is so bad. the kind of answers we got when asked about this was unacceptable. The grading on the sides of the house is so steep, I wonder how anyone could mow the lawn. Not just the slope, but there is so much irregularties in the levelling that I can sprain my ankle or break it when I mow.

Like: floor-plan is good and space is well utilized. Good customer service. Dislike: No walk-thru on closing process from Lender and Title company. I had to follow up with them on wiring instructions.

[name removed] and [name removed] both with Normandy Homes (Sales & Construction Manager) made the purchasing of our very first brand new home very easy and a pleasure. They are both Superstars as Individuals and Employees. Dislike - I understand that Normandy Home is Not a Custom Builders however; they should get their Options list updated. Examples: Lever Door Knobs very popular not an Option. Electrical Outlet in the Garage for an Electric Car - best to do during the building process - some Builders are making it Standard - not an Option for Normandy.
