No one knows more about a homebuilder's quality and service than the builder's customers.

Since 1984, Eliant has been independently evaluating the performance of homebuilders across the U.S., Canada, and the Middle East:

  • We ask recent homebuyers to evaluate their builder's purchase process.
  • Then, we ask homeowners to evaluate their builder's quality and service (1) after the first 5-months in the home, and (2) again at the end of the first year.

In "Homebuilder Customer Reviews", we present the ratings and comments collected from new-home buyers at these three points in time.

Eliant verifies that only evaluations completed by actual customers are included in this "Homebuilder Customer Reviews" site. Once we went under contract it was another 3 weeks before a sold sign went in the yard and the home was still available for self tours. Was t super fond of the idea of anyone being able to go in or out of our future home

Dislikes:The length of time it took to get information from Century Complete. Pricing of homes changed from what the site had originally had. No perks. One part of the subdivision has no HOA and this one does. Not having a mailbox when moving in. No refrigerator. Likes: Styke and size of the home.

As first time home buyers we are extremely pleased with how smooth the process was. The only complications and confusion we had was with inspire loans. Our realtor was told one thing and would inform us of the conversation she had with [name removed]. Within an hour we were told something completely different than what he advised her. Thankfully she stayed very involved and made sure that what we were promised in the beginning is what we ended with.

I will NEVER buy a house "online" again. Everyone that we worked with was very nice, but it was extremely frustrating as I had problems scanning many of the required papers. I would have liked to have the opportunity to drop things off, or fax them over.

Initially, there were many inconsistencies relayed to my realtor and I when originally reserved the lot. The second/final time I reserved the lot prior to closing, the communication about the pricing and incentives were greatly improved and rectified. Much better experience the second time around.
