I love my new home and community and my new neighbors. I had multiple issues with getting my front door fixed initially. It was damaged prior to me closing and I was assured that it would be fixed. It took 4 trips to my home and multiple disagreements about my door before it was fixed. I have hurricane windows and door. They door company came twice with a door without glass in it and told me they were going to move my glass to the new door. I refused this both times because you can not do this with a hurricane door and maintain the hurricane integrity and rating if you disassemble the door. Finally after multiple, more the 10 phone calls back and forth with the door company and different levels of management the correct door was installed. This should not have been this hard and I should not of had to be the one to educate the door company on their own product. The installers were great The company itself was not. [name removed] should have had that door replaced before I closed.

The only thing that I am very upset about (and just found out) is that the dog park, which is touted as a big amenity, is ONLY golf cart accessible. It never occurred to me that I could not park there with my vehicle and it is quite a trek with a dog from the closest parking lot, which is Publix.

We were traveling extensively during the 5 months of construction and [name removed] sent us weekly photos and written updates on the progress. He was also very quick to respond on any issues or questions we had. [name removed] was also very helpful in organizing meetings as needed and helping us with any decisions we had to make.

My closing celebration was non-existent. There was a problem the morning we closed to get the CO. I know that was a [name removed] [name removed] issue. But I think [name removed] should have known earlier than the morning we were to close. My closing date was set for weeks, and the last minute CO problem should not have happened!

I’m sure it will get done, but was disappointed in the time to extend my pavers. Also, not a big deal but do not like the electrical cover on the porch very hard to open for an older person and too low on the wall. Minimal problem though.

[name removed] our Superintendent went above and beyond to make sure we were kept up to date. We did have an inspector who pointed out minor items and they were taking care of quickly and to satisfaction.

We didn't expect a perfect home at delivery, but we DO expect issues to be resolved without a lot of foot-dragging or pushback and [name removed] (our mastercare rep) has been responsive and helpful.

The quality of the workmanship is marginal. You have the material but the workmanship installing it is the issue. It is hard to repair anything with out it looking like it is a repair. The subcontractors were not held responsible for the installation and we are stuck with it because they thought it was ok. You cant change concrete and stucco, so we have to XXXXX it up and accept it because it cant be changed.
