Since 1984, Eliant has been independently evaluating the performance of homebuilders across the U.S., Canada, and the Middle East:

  • We ask recent homebuyers to evaluate their builder's purchase process.
  • Then, we ask homeowners to evaluate their builder's quality and service (1) after the first 5-months in the home, and (2) again at the end of the first year.

The communication on New [name removed] CO’s end was phenomenal. Even as we approached closing, I was always in the know of what was going on. I appreciate the process of an initial and final walk through. I enjoyed the walk through where I everything and every feature was explained. I filled out the 30 day form in the portal about things I found since moving in, and [name removed] reached out to me the next day. On closing day, (I forgot his name, but it wasn’t [name removed]), he was great on explaining things one last time and ensuring all my questions were answered. My only complaint falls on those who did the building. After I moved in, I saw my tub faucet was installed crooked (which is scheduled to be fixed thanks to [name removed]). Prior to having my water softener system installed, my water pressure was unusually low. I inquired with the company that did the installation. They measured it and said it was recording low. They took off the shower heads and faucet heads and said the piping was never flushed (they said this should have been done) so there was a lot of debris from the initial build that affected my pressure. After they cleaned it, my pressures were where they should be according to their recordings. They also pointed out where they do their installation in the laundry room, that the area should have been cut differently. Their exact words were “this was not done appropriately” and they stated the person who did it, did a “bad” and “lazy” job. Once they were done, it looked like what I am used to seeing. As a first time homebuyer, this was not something I would have thought to question. The area on the wall was fit for one single piece of piping to barely fit. I wish I could explain it better, but lack knowledge on terminology in this area. I feel like both the tub faucet, debris in the water plumping, and the laundry room plumbing may be areas that the same contractors completed (??), so I was not “very satisfied” in those areas. However, New [name removed] Co has been great with addressing it.

Everything was amazing, from the office staff to the site managers. Always very helpful and repaired anything that needed to be fix before and after we moved in.

All staff were responsive, helpful, and friendly. All issues identified at blue tape walkthrough were resolved by closing. One issue identified at closing walkthrough was resolved same day.

We are happy with our home, we are very disappointed in the way we were treated once we moved in,, First day of moving,, my wife notices she can’t turn on the washer,, 3 seconds and it would just die,, we called [name removed] our sales rep for new home and told her,, She wanted us to call the customer hotline or whatever it is,, we are like,, we haven’t even finished moving into our house yet,, and you are already telling us,, there’s nothing you can do??!!! Well, she did call someone to come out and look,, According to the superintendent,, everything was checked,, however, when they came to look at the washer,, the wires were connected wrong,, Therefore,, there’s no way, it was checked or passed and inspection, when the wires were completely wrong,, the wires right and the washer worked,,, Now my wife can do a load of laundry,, not dirty laundry but linens that we were using to move Now,, the washer won’t stop washing,,, new issue The washer will wash for 15-minutes to nonstop 24 hours,, we called again,,, They came out again,,, and then they found out the timer was not working or broken,,, takes a week to order it and get it,, Now our washer is working properly,, but we have asked to come calibrate our water heater,, I like hot showers,, they came. But still my water temp is not right,, I have to jump out of my shower because the water is too cold or,, at least not hot enough!! And one more thing,, When we looked at the us home We were told it would come with blinds,, To this day No one,, answers when our agent tries to get a hold of someone,, [name removed],, has now gone completely silent to our agent!! We are happy with our purchase,, We are not happy at all with everything that has happened once we signed and you hit your money!! New [name removed] Co far surpasses them all in style...design...workmanship... quality. This is the smartest move that I have ever made.
