The communication on New [name removed] CO’s end was phenomenal. Even as we approached closing, I was always in the know of what was going on. I appreciate the process of an initial and final walk through. I enjoyed the walk through where I everything and every feature was explained. I filled out the 30 day form in the portal about things I found since moving in, and [name removed] reached out to me the next day. On closing day, (I forgot his name, but it wasn’t [name removed]), he was great on explaining things one last time and ensuring all my questions were answered. My only complaint falls on those who did the building. After I moved in, I saw my tub faucet was installed crooked (which is scheduled to be fixed thanks to [name removed]). Prior to having my water softener system installed, my water pressure was unusually low. I inquired with the company that did the installation. They measured it and said it was recording low. They took off the shower heads and faucet heads and said the piping was never flushed (they said this should have been done) so there was a lot of debris from the initial build that affected my pressure. After they cleaned it, my pressures were where they should be according to their recordings. They also pointed out where they do their installation in the laundry room, that the area should have been cut differently. Their exact words were “this was not done appropriately” and they stated the person who did it, did a “bad” and “lazy” job. Once they were done, it looked like what I am used to seeing. As a first time homebuyer, this was not something I would have thought to question. The area on the wall was fit for one single piece of piping to barely fit. I wish I could explain it better, but lack knowledge on terminology in this area. I feel like both the tub faucet, debris in the water plumping, and the laundry room plumbing may be areas that the same contractors completed (??), so I was not “very satisfied” in those areas. However, New [name removed] Co has been great with addressing it.

The sales team was excellent - very friendly and willing to help. The initial walkthrough did not meet expectations. There were lots of obvious details that still needed work. Staff welcomed and friendliness was not great but okay. Our final walkthrough also did not meet our expectations. A lot of what was listed in our initial walkthrough did not get fixed. The customer rep did not follow up after closing. We still have pending items. Overall, the house is great but with many details still pending.

Issues have come up after the home purchase that have taken multiple emails and calls to get fixed. There is a Communication breakdown between the homeowner, the warranty rep and the contractors. The sales time was awesome during the purchase of the house. The paint inside and outside of the house seems like it’s single coat, the flooring has air pockets, the bathroom doors have a very small gap at the bottom so putting a floor mat around the toilet is impossible, there was no rain gutter put on the side of the California room so all the water just rains down the side of the roof into the California room. These are just a few of the issues I have dealt with and noticed.

I liked the thorough walk through that my customer care rep [name removed] provided during the house to home transition. He was there for me to answer my questions even after the transition. The garage entrance is too small despite the total size for the 1 car garage. It would be much smoother entering/exiting the garage if the opening is at least 1 feet wider.

She really went to battle for me and listened to me when I shared with her how long, I have been on this battle. Thank you [name removed], for all of your hard work, dedication and commitment to making this happen. Lastly. Welcome to our family!!! Loved: [name removed]: [name removed] walked through the hot sun with us and drove us around in golf cart. We laughed a lot with [name removed] and he made sure to give us snacks and drinks after every tour. He throughly answered all of questions and provided us with information. Thank you [name removed], just for being you!!!! Loved:[name removed] met us with such professionalism and friendliness. [name removed] has taken care of all of our concerns and not once complained or been bothered when we asked. [name removed] is one cool dude and represents New Home CO well. Liked: The closing procedures and office were nice and professional. Anxiety and PTSD was at an all time high. But the one on one approach of signing the contract. Made it easier, the Worker with the Title Company was warm and friendly. Which help to take the pressure off. Liked: [name removed]- He is very thorough and by the book. So I like the way he follows up with vendors and the home owners. I really appreciate his candor. Thank you [name removed], for tending to our concerns. Overall, I am very happy with my decision to take the plunge and move here. I am Super excited and happy to be a homeowner in Painted Prairie/Woodrose- Thank you again to Everyone and may God Bless You All!!!!
