We really appreciated [name removed], our sales rep - he was amazing and went far beyond his job role/ responsibility! [name removed] was thorough, communicative, friendly, and always available to help - he was a vital helper during construction when our foreman was unreachable. He represents [name removed] very well. He was the main reason we continued to seek buying a home here. Additionally, [name removed] (home designer) was wonderful to work with and followed up on our behalf to ensure our selections were implemented at the house. We liked the options available , there were many; and appreciated the ability to visit the models multiple times to observe option choices. The thing we disliked most and made a negative impression would be the fact our assigned construction foreman ([name removed]) went silent during construction and had multiple wrong option A and B selections that he did not catch, and we remotely had to catch based on photos. Note, these photos were not from [name removed], we had rely on [name removed] and [name removed] who stepped up and acted on our behalf. [name removed] started strong at start but then stopped weekly communications and no real photos, especially during the critical construction period. Being remote this was an awful feeling while remote and not have a contact point we could depend on. Frustrating with lack of communication. Structure such as the zero entry shower was not done so the shower had to be re-done, and wrong floorimg. This caused some stress

I liked the sales team. I liked the building supervisor and how he consistently communicated with us. The warranty team for the home itself is great. The warranty team for the community (like getting the plants or a streetlight repaired) is not very good at all. They are very quick to communicate when/if a homeowner needs to correct something, but terrible to communicate when they need to correct something.

For the last year, we have enjoyed our fantastic Island home in Phase 4. What a journey the past three and a half years has been! The LMHH process allowed us to build the home we wanted, and we did it while living on the west coast. It was important for us to do our homework before making choices. That careful planning time made the A and B options process more fun. Our previous new-build experiences had prepared us for the inevitable challenges. Were there surprises? Yes! And we are still dealing with issues today that are being well managed. The secret to a calm and rewarding experience was the relationships we built with the exceptionally talented, likeable and professional people who build and care for these homes. The individuals who are most responsible for our first-class experience are: [name removed] – Construction Superintendent [name removed] – Designer [name removed] – MasterCare Representative We feel incredibly fortunate to have been able to work with each of them. [name removed] did a masterful job and delivered a meticulously crafted home. [name removed] was creative, thoughtful and fun. Will is always responsive and detailed in everything he does. Timeframe, from the time we asked to be put on the list until move-in was 24 months. But, in fairness we were told there was going to be a long wait.

While the structure of the home has been constructed with quality (good “bones”), the cosmetic finishes were completed with substandard quality. And [name removed] knew of these issues prior to close and as well ongoing. Our Mastercare representative ([name removed]) has been fantastic to deal with. However, the shoddy workmanship is a difficult item to overcome. For example, we recently put in a request to replace some damaged baseboard molding. The [name removed] representative simply filled in the molding with drywall spackle and said that was the best he couldn do. He elaborated that the walls are so uneven and so much caulk was used to make the baseboard look even that if he were to remove the baseboard the caulk removal would rip the drywall paper which wouof require new drywall (separate team), new taping and paint (separate team), and then new molding (his team) and then painting the wood work (paint team again). Really??? So we can’t really fix the molding cause it would take an army of teams, all coordinated by the homeowner to get this accomplished. I strongly believe [name removed] builds with such horrible finishing quality knowing the process to correct is so convoluted that people won’t really use it. It’s a shame that I cannot recommend [name removed] to my friends even though I love the community

Dislikes: Upon move in, laminate floors and bathroom tiles were absolutely filthy, filled with glue, stained and scratched in multiple locations. Mirrors (2) in Master bath were scratched and had to be replaced. Tub in hall bathroom scratched as well. No extra tiles/floorboards left for us after closing. Panels on kitchen island had protruding nails and had to be replaced. Kitchen pantry shelves not mounted properly. Kitchen cabinet shell on right side of microwave is scuffed and scratched. Landscaping is terrible, and not what was promised. Grass has been brown and filled with weeds for the majority of the year. Sprinklers not working during the hot weather. Many of the backyard plants have been dead for about 8 months, and have been replaced twice. Tickets submitted for plant replacement go unanswered. Must be a soil problem since all of the same plants are thriving in the front yard. Likes: Very happy with the drainage in the yards. Structurally, the overall house itself is pretty solid. No complaints there. Our MasterCare [name removed] [name removed] is absolutely fabulous! She was on top of any issue we had by the following morning. We got extremely lucky with her!! Love the Paradise Pool, Community Center and all of the amenities. Everything is very pleasing to the eye.

She takes my concerns seriously and makes me feel like she really cares.
